The Trophy Tour serves to engage the community and build excitement for the NCAA Women’s Final Four at Nationwide Arena on April 2-4, 2027. Over the coming months, the Trophy Tour will. stop at community events, sports games and festivals.
This High School Hoops campaign is a chance for one Central Ohio school to bring a leveled up version of the Trophy Tour to a girls basketball game later this season. Here’s what we’ll bring to the winning school:
- NCAA Women’s Final Four replica trophy for photo ops
- Free prizes & giveaways
- Pop-a-Shot
- Trivia & games
- 360° photo booth
- + More surprises
How Does Your School Get Involved?
All 100+ OHSAA Central Region schools with girls basketball are eligible, but this tournament is capped at 64 schools. So, if you want your school to join, tell your coach or athletic director to email us at womensfinalfour@columbussports.org to get more information or register.
Once 64 teams are entered, we’ll close the entries and start preparing for the first round. Schools will receive a promotional toolkit to help rally their fans to vote.
How Does it Work?
We’ll publish the tournament matchups on this page starting in December 2026.
- Up to 64 teams will enter
- Tell your coach or athletic director to email us and we’ll send them a link to register. First come, first served!
- Once the matchups are live, community members can vote each round for their favorite school(s).
- Voting will take place exclusively here, three days per round from 64 schools until the final two. From start to finish, it will be just over three weeks until one winner is chosen.
- You can vote once per day.
- The team with the most votes in each matchup wins and moves onto the next round. The losing team is eliminated.
Timeline
- October – November: Schools are contacted and have the opportunity to register for the tournament.
- November – December: We’ll notify schools that have been accepted and send their toolkits.
- December – January: The tournament is live! Vote daily.
- January – February: Working with the winning school, we’ll find a date to bring the Trophy Tour to a girls basketball game.
